Terms of Service

Last updated: February 11, 2026 Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Oakminder mobile application (“App”) operated by Oakminder (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Service Description

Oakminder is a subscription-based reminder application for iOS that provides custom snooze actions, recurring reminders, cross-device synchronization, and AI-powered voice commands.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Oakminder. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Accounts

You may create an account using your email address or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Free Trial: The annual plan includes a 3-day free trial with full access to all features.
• Weekly Plan: $1.99 per week (no free trial).
• Annual Plan: $49.99 per year (includes 3-day free trial).
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, consistent with Apple’s refund policies.
• After the free trial expires, a subscription is required to continue using the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s servers or networks.
• Use automated systems to access the App beyond normal usage.
• Create reminders containing harmful, abusive, or illegal content.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Oakminder and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your reminder content remains yours.

7. Third-Party Services

Oakminder uses the following third-party services to operate: Each service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

8. AI Voice Features

The AI voice agent is powered by Google Gemini. Voice commands are processed to create and manage reminders. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI interpretations. Usage is subject to rate limits that vary by subscription tier.

9. Push Notifications

The App relies on push notifications for core functionality. By using the App, you consent to receiving push notifications. You may disable them in your device settings, but this will limit the App’s usefulness.

10. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for:

• Missed or delayed reminders due to device settings, network issues, or system limitations.
• Loss of data or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Actions taken based on AI voice agent interpretations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
